In-Home Postpartum Doula Support
CURRENT POSTPARTUM AVAILABILITY: DAYTIME SUPPORT FOR APRIL 2026 & BEYOND
Families often spend a lot of time preparing for childbirth,
but what about the fourth trimester and beyond?
The fourth trimester is the first three months after your baby is born, also known as the postpartum and/or newborn stage. This period (and beyond) can be a big time of transition and adjustment.
As a postpartum doula, I’m committed to supporting families through this time, bringing elements of ease, honoring and recognition, as well as reminders that you are truly the best parent for your baby.
Below are some of the logistical things you can expect:
Helping take care of YOU: Your baby is getting showered with love , but have YOU been able to find time for a nap and/or shower?! I’m able to wear your baby in a wrap to offer time for parent needs like sleep, showers, and other forms of self care (and I’m often wearing baby whenever they’re not eating, and this allows me to remain hands free to do the other logistical supports listed below).
General Home Support: This can look like food prep, cooking nourishing meals, light tidying of the home such as dishes, vacuuming, baby laundry, giving love to your fur-st and plant babies, etc.
Newborn Care Education: I provide real-time, hands-on support and information surrounding bathing, trimming nails, tummy time, wake windows, soothing, Baby communication, wearing Baby and more, IF that’s what you’re desiring. I will always honor and respect the ways you know are best for your baby and family.
Feeding Baby Support: As a Certificated Lactation Educator & Counselor (CLEC), I can assist you with feeding your baby in whatever way is most supportive for you and your family. The spectrum of baby feeding includes nursing, pumping, bottle and/or formula feeding, using an SNS system, etc.
There are also some intangible supports you can expect:
(which families are often most grateful for when they reflect on our time together)
Providing Space for Vulnerability. This can include talking about your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journeys, partnership experiences, identity shift, as well as the high highs and low lows.
Supporting Your Mental Health. I will keep an eye and ear out for any possible need for mental health resources and support.
Attunement to Your Emotional Needs: offering safety, permission, invitation, validation, affirmation, empathy, compassion, and curiosity for all that you have been, are, and are becoming.
Do I really need in-home support during this time?

1030p-12a: I will focus on quieter tasks like laundry, cooking & dishes, whatever feels best for you!
12-6a: I’ll rest next to your baby in an agreed upon space and bring them to you as needed if you’re nursing, help with pumping if desired, and tend to your little one by offering them a bottle, burping them, changing their diaper and helping them back to sleep.
This can all be edited and changed to suit your family’s needs and preferences!
